Hello Fellow Gooners!
I’m back cos Eric is busy running around the next 2 weeks.
It’s always much easier to write the newsletter after we have won, even if it was an 89th minute squeaky bum, can’t afford to drop points, banner wankers getting ready to stick their knives in, Alexis17 poacher of a goal, win. I must admit I thought we were going to drop points already, then BOOM! Phew! #OneNilToTheArsenal
So with the 3 points last night, we are 6th and only 4 points separate us from 3rd place Southampton and we have qualified for the Champions League knockout stages for the 15th year running. Don’t get discouraged Gooners, and get behind the team! The yearend fixture congestion is coming up and The Gunners and Wenger need our support! “Arsene, Thanks For The Memories. Let’s Make Some More” was a sign held up by a Gooner last night at The Emirates. We should support him like the Dortmund fans are supporting Klopp, even though they are bottom of the Bundesliga.
While on the topic of the year end, our famous year end party and charity auction is coming up again on Sun 28 Dec starting at 7pm at Molly’s Bras Basah. Our former President, Kevin, will be back to MC the event and you just KNOW the games he will come up with will leave you in stitches and peeing in your pants! And you know you wouldn’t want to miss that experience. There are a few places left and you MUST sign up ahead of time so email email@example.com immediately, deadline 7 Dec 2014. For you Hokkien pengs I say Maituliao, Maikongbojio and if you are too late, Maikaopehkaobu!
This coming weekend is also the ABSOLUTE LAST CHANCE to sign up as a member of Arsenal Singapore for this season, after which you will have to wait till April 2015. So no more dawdling, get down to Molly Roffey’s Bras Basah for signups on Sat 6 Dec between 930pm to 1030pm. Kickoff for Stoke City v Arsenal is at 11pm. #SmashTheOrcs
Molly Roffey’s at Dorsett will also be screening the above match live for those who prefer a quieter venue with seating! PLEASE take note, none of the other Molly Roffey’s outlets are obligated to screen Arsenal matches so don’t go there and expect that they will change the channel.
That’s it for me this week. #StrongerTogether
