Dear Singapore Gooners,
Shocking!
Flabbergasted!
Un Un Unbelievable!
We all felt that way, and more, after playing Maureenho-less Chelski. Different manager, same outcome. Boo!
Theo didn’t step up. Ozil went missing. Rambo ran aimlessly and pretty much gave way possession more often than not. Am I being too polite still? Well this newsletter has a PG-rating unfortunately. Was this our Arsenal?
That ugly “CostaCoffee” virus struck our defence yet again and essentially wiped us out thereafter. There was another 70 mins, after being down to 10 men, to salvage our pride and title credentials but alas, the team (OUR TEAM) was nowhere to be found. We win as a team, we lose as a team.
Ending our league run in January with this loss is definitely a BIG blow. Let’s not fool ourselves. Let’s hope the coming Year of the Monkey will get us swinging to good fortune again!

Arsenal Merchandise and Membership Cards
Gooners, I need your help. We have about 90 members who have not collected your membership cards for this season plus the yellow scarves which is your renewal gift. About 15 new members have also not collected their Arsenal Singapore polo t-shirt which is your sign-up gift. We are running out of space to store these items so your cooperation is needed. Please collect them from the Exco team this Saturday 30th Jan (Burnley match) strictly 10pm-10.30pm.
This Saturday, it’s Burnley in our way to clinch our 13th FA Cup. There’s speculation that Coquelin and Elneny may start the match or at least play some part in this. Alexis should start and get things going too. Come on down to catch your current FA Cup Champions in action.
Arsenal v Burnley, Saturday 30 Jan, 11pm kick-off at Molly Bras Basah and Dorsett.
