Arsenal Singapore Newsletter 17th March 2016

Dear Singapore Gooners,

LUNCHTIME EDITION!

How many Gooners woke up this morning to catch A v B? If you didn’t, well you missed a great match. Despite the scoreline, The Arsenal turned up, put on a spirited performance, had some great chances but alas it was not meant to be. Go catch the highlights and impressive performances by Elneny, Iwobi, Monreal, Alexis, Ozil and Ooooooospina! Elneny even scored a beauty!

Unfortunately, we lost to the best footy club in the world currently. No shame there. MSN > WOA

And after being dumped out of the FA Cup last Sunday, the entire team needs a good hard look at themselves. From Top to Bottom.

Where’s the Passion?
Where’s the Desire?
Where’s the Pride?

It’s also very disappointing to see outrageous outbursts and fighting from Gooners online in UK recently. We all want the best of our beloved Club. We all want the same thing. But there’s no reason to resort to violence and go down that path. We are a classy London club and we should not behave like thugs (you know, like fans of that team down the road). So let’s try to channel some positive energy and move on.

Membership Renewal

Good news! We will resume our membership renewal on 2nd April (Watford match). We have an amazing renewal gift this season and it sure looks damn cool. What is it, you ask? 1st clue, it is RED. More clues in my next newsletter!

Finally, we are playing against The Toffees this Saturday. It’s an away match and Everton has been having a rollercoaster season themselves. Our boys need to focus all their energy in this match and clinch the 3 points! There are only 9 matches to go this season. It’s max 27 points or bust!

It’s an early kick-off for Everton v The Arsenal, Sat 19 March, 8.45pm at Molly Bras Basah.

There will be no newsletter next week as it’s an international break. So you’ll hear from me in 2 weeks time. Enjoy your St. Paddy’s Day today. I might just grab a pint!

Victory Through Harmony,
Dhanesh
