Hello Singapore Gooners,
May Day, May Day!
Yes that holiday is upon us this weekend but today I’m referring to our obvious spiralling in our form and luck.
How did we go from being top of the league in January to struggling to even stay at our “customary” 4th spot?
I can count on one hand the number of players who have excelled this entire season. That’s easily less than half of the current first XI.
And last Sunday, we were appalling, dreadful and downright depressing. Yes, I’m calling a spade, a spade. It makes you wonder what they actually do in training sessions, doesn’t it?
Bad News: 3 more matches and we may struggle to get max points.
Good News: The new EPL season starts in 3.5 months. Woohoo!
Membership Renewal & New Sign-ups
We will run renewals for the next 3 weeks and it’s your last chance to do it this season. Get your hands on the All-new Arsenal Singapore polo t-shirt. Look out for the Exco team outside Molly only from 11pm to 12 midnight on Sat 30th April.
I mentioned last week that we may have some events lined up in Singapore during pre-season and probably as early as August 2016. These events will be exclusively for Arsenal Singapore members only. If you have not renewed your membership by then, you may not be able to participate. Next season, Arsenal Singapore will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary of being an Official Arsenal Supporters’ Club (since 2007). So it will be an awesome season coming up.
This weekend, The Canaries come over to Emirates. It’s another potential relegation team so you know what to expect… Them parking the bus (Jose style).
Will we be able to unlock their defence? Will Coq return to the first team and partner Elneny? Will Wilshere start for the first time in nearly a year? Let’s find out together.
Arsenal v Norwich City, Sunday 1st May, 12.30am kick-off!
Come on, Arsenal!
Victory Through Harmony,
