Are you enjoying the November Rain? When it rains, it definitely pours. The international break is finally over. Even better news is that the next international break is only in March 2017!
We kicked off November with a drab draw with THAT team down the lane. That was 2 points dropped for sure. More eventful that night was the fact that we had more than 400 Gooners packed at FIVE Square, the new Home of Arsenal Singapore.
Wasn’t it amazing when the whole place was filled up and we were one BIG Gooner family? How did it feel when we all sang at the top of our lungs all night long… Which was YOUR fav Sp*rs song? LOL.
Due to the overwhelming crowd on that night which neither the Exco team nor the management of FIVE could have predicted, we received feedback that night and the following day on how service and operational issues can be improved. We thank you for this and have already discussed with FIVE management on improvements. There will be ongoing adjustments for tweaking as this partnership with FIVE grows.
- For this weekend’s match against Manure, FIVE will double the staff on duty so that everyone will get their drinks as fast as possible.
- For food options, all 5 stalls will be fully operational every Saturday night till 10pm.
- Food ordering will be self-service at the stalls. You can make payment at the staff itself, enter your mobile number in the system upon ordering and once your food is ready, you will receive a SMS to collect your food. Yes, it’s pretty hi-tech if you haven’t already noticed.
- You have 5 stalls offering Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese and local pub grub.
- Also if members wish to book a table, FIVE will accept reservations only via email: square@fivebar.sg

Despite the opening day defeat to Liverpool FC Singapore (emulating the London lads), our footy team is eager to start our unbeaten run starting this Saturday. Head on down to support the Singapore team!

4. Membership Renewals and Sign-ups
You only have 2 more matches in November to come down to FIVE Square to renew your membership or get your friends/family/future in-laws to sign-up as members. No further extensions after 27th November.
Our 10th Anniversary Party is coming up in March 2017. This is strictly for members only. And you know the Exco team always takes care of our members. Look out for our announcement on the Anniversary Party sometime next week!
The Exco team will be on duty from 7pm to 8pm.
Finally this Saturday, we play a team beneath us (in the table, I mean). Will we have the upper hand? Will our fine form edge out the Devils in Manchester? Will Alexis defy Wenger and insist on playing? Will Oli-G be our saviour? Will it be a cracker of a game? Will Maureen-ho shake hands with Wenger and blame you-know-who for still living in a hotel in Manchester and can’t get the monkey off his back?
