Good morning Gooners,
The Arsenal rounded off 2016 with a very tight 1-0 victory over WBA who basically parked the bus (and their mini-van) in front of their goal. We huffed and puffed and eventually Oli-G came to the rescue, kindly assisted by Ozil.
We need to grind out such results especially in January when all our rivals have tougher fixtures than us. We must start strongly in 2017 and keep our faith till May!

1. Referral Needed for 10th Anniversary
The Exco team needs your help. Can you recommend us a company that can do decoration of the ballroom for us? We are looking for someone who can do it a a very reasonable rate (read: BIG discount lah). If that person is a Gooner it’s a Bonus! We are on a tight budget so appreciate your referrals.

2. 10th Anniversary Celebration
We now have 145 members signed up for our big event on Saturday 25th March 2017 at Hotel Jen Tanglin. Our target is to secure 200 members for this Anniversary party. This will be our BIGGEST bash ever!!

We will offer a grace period until 5th Jan 2017 to our members who can’t come down to FIVE Square on weekends to register and make payment.
On Thursday 5th January 2017, look for Tony from 7pm-8pm and make payment in Cash. This is really your last chance to enjoy the early-bird pricing.
Early-bird pricing: $60 for Arsenal SG members and $80 for non-members (immediate family only).
From 6th January 2017 onwards: $70 for Arsenal SG members and $90 for non-members.

3. FIVE Square
Sunday 1st Jan is a public holiday and our game is at Midnight (Monday morning). Take note of the following:
- Five Square outlet will only open at 8pm on 1st Jan.
- Only the Tapas food stall will be open. Last order is half-time, 12.45AM
- If members wish to book a table, FIVE will accept reservations only via email: square@fivebar.sg

This Sunday, we play Palace with their new boss, the disgraced Fat Sam. He probably knows how to hurt us and we need to start 2017 with a Bang! With some injuries to our lads, we may see Giroud upfront again but will we see Lucas and Rambo get more playing time? Welbeck is not ready yet but he may get some action time later in January.
Since it’s a public holiday, we hope to see our members gather at FIVE and cheer the team on!!
