Hello Singapore Gooners,
We ended April with a good kick up our ars*. It seems more and more like we have gone from the Invincibles to the Invisibles. Incredible, isn’t it?
Big shout out to the 300+ Gooners who came down to FIVE Square last Sunday but unfortunately our team failed to show up except for one player – Did you Cech out his outstanding saves?
It’s now the merry month of May and really the only thing worth waiting for is the FA Cup Final on Saturday 27th May. We are planning a special feature that night for our members so stay tuned! All will be revealed soon.
Here are your Arsenal Singapore updates this week.
1. Ground Rules at Arsenal Singapore – FIVE Square
This is a timely reminder ahead of this Sunday’s game against Man Utd.
On Arsenal match nights at FIVE Square, any fan in the opposing team’s jersey/t-shirt/cap will be politely turned away or asked to change out of their outfit before they can enter the home of Arsenal Singapore.
Arsenal Singapore members who bring along their non-Gooner friends are advised to remind them of this policy. As fellow Gooners, you are also responsible for the behaviour of your friends.
What we expect from all fans is basic respect especially from guests who are non-Arsenal supporters. There is no ‘away’ section in our pub so all we ask is that your guests respect that they are on Arsenal ground. Fans who want to cheer on the opposition should consider watching the game at the home pub of that particular club instead.

2. Emirates Cup Tickets – July 2017
Here is the Emirates Cup 2017 match schedule at Emirates Stadium, London. Like previous Emirates Cup tournaments, fans will enjoy two matches for the price of one ticket on each day.

3. Collection of Membership Cards and Renewals
We have over 50 members who have yet to collect their 2015/16 membership cards and renewal gifts. Kindly come down on any of the four Arsenal match nights in May to collect them. We seek your cooperation on this as we will not hold them after end May.
For those planning to renew for 2017 season, you can continue to renew your memberships this Sunday. Even after 10 years, we have kept it at an affordable $30 for adults and $15 for under-18s.
Renewals and new sign-ups will continue on Sunday 7th May, 9.30pm to 10.30pm only. New sign-ups will still get the awesome red & white polo t-shirt. This year’s renewal gift is an amazing yellow and blue drawstring bag. See the picture attached. Our members simply love it!
Finally this Sunday we take on Manure at our home turf. How will our team react to the last defeat? Will they rise against the “specialist in draws”? Something’s gotta give. Hope to see our members come down to FIVE Square and watch the match with fellow Gooners.
FIVE Square doors will open for dinner at 8pm with Tapas and bar bites selection available. We are expecing a full house so if members wish to book a table, FIVE will accept reservations only via email: square@fivebar.sg
