August is the month of Red and White. For The Arsenal (and Singapore too)!
EPL season is kicking off really soon but first a small matter of Community Shield @ Wembley against the Yokohoma Blues of Fulham. Yes, we are playing THEM again.
As of this afternoon, there are still rumours of a 3rd signing joining us… All signs point to Thomas Lemar but I guess we have until 31st August to get the job done. The sooner the better and it will surely get the team buzzing to clinch the the Premiership trophy in 9 months time. Easy-peasy, I say! LOL
Lots of action on-and-off the field so let’s get down right to it. Here’s your weekly updates from Arsenal Singapore.
1. Match Tickets

2. AGM 2017
Save the Date! Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday 19 August, 8pm – 9.30pm, FIVE Square. Members are welcome to learn about our club’s achievements in the past year and our plans for the new season ahead. Buffet dinner has been catered for the first 50 members. Members are encouraged to stay for Stoke v Arsenal game, 12.30am that same night.
3. Membership renewals and new sign-ups
Renewals and new sign-ups will start on Sunday 6th August, 7.30pm to 8.30pm. New sign-ups will still get the awesome red & white polo t-shirt. This year’s renewal gift is the amazing yellow and blue drawstring bag. Even after 10 years, we have kept it at an affordable $30 for adults and $15 for under-18s renewals.
Members who have yet to collect your membership cards/gifts from last season, we have everything ready for you.
Finally this Sunday, Wembley will be Red again! Let’s kick out those Blues outta there once and for all (before Sp*ds take over as their homeground!) HAHAHA.
Come down to Five Square, grab your dinner there and catch the match with your fellow Gooners. No Chelski fans allowed – that’s an order!
