It’s been awhile since I had to write one of these haha.
AGM and new Exco lineup
In case you hadn’t heard, we held our AGM on Saturday and elected a new Exco. I hadn’t planned on taking over as President again but a couple members we approached declined the job and Dhanesh needed a short break after his *ahem* TREMENDOUS tenure, so here I am!
Dhanesh will be Vice President and Sherwin and Pete remain Secretary and Social Media Lead respectively. Tony takes over from Connie as Treasurer, Connie moves over to Tickets and Umarani is Vice Secretary. I’d like to introduce 3 new members to the Exco, first we have Tan Chin Hui who will be Vice Treasurer, Ed “Edboue” Borhan will be Website Lead and Shakin Chua who will be in charge of Events. Please do come and have a chat with them on match nights and get to know them!
I’d like to massively thank Zac, Eric, Shai and Steve who are stepping down, for their dedicated service to the club. Without them during the past 10 years, I can safely say our Club would not have been as successful. Hopefully they will be back in the Exco in the near future!

Arsenal Masters Welcome party (Thursday 9th Nov, 7pm to 9.30pm at Five Square)
You’ve all received previous emails on this event from DJ and I am happy to report that there are only 9 more tickets left so don’t miss out on this opportunity to meet our former players. Liverpool v Arsenal Sun 27 August, kickoff 11pm, LIVE at Five Square
Five Square will specially open for us for this match at 8pm, bar bites and the tapas stall will be available, so come down and cheer for The Mighty Arsenal!! Renewals/signups/collection of membership cards will be from 9pm to 1030pm. Your 2016/17 membership expires at the end of this month so please RUSH down to renew and claim your snazzy Arsenal Singapore slingbag.
After the disappointing game last weekend against the orcs let’s hope the Gunners will make up for it with a mugsmashing win against the scousers!! Somebody get Welbz a new pair of boots!!!
