Arsenal Singapore Newsletter, 21 Sep 2017

Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,

Well we didn’t beat Chelski on Sunday but you have to admit, the team played with heart and went for it but were unlucky with the woodwork.  We can’t expect to win every time but I think it’s fair to expect them to try!  Around 200 Singapore Gooners were at Five Square for the match and the atmosphere was pretty good!  Where were the rest of you???

Last night we beat Fergie’s son, er, I mean Doncaster Rovers 1-0 to next meet Norwich at home in the Carabao Cup.  Nice goal by Feo from a perfect pass by Alexis.  He may want to leave but he seems to be trying his best for us, just need his match fitness to get back to peak ASAP!  Wilshere finally put in a full shift for us so hope to see more of him.

No game this weekend as Sky decided to screw Singtel and schedule our game v WBA on Monday night UK time (Tues 305am Singapore).  Come on Palace and Saints this weekend!!

Our next live viewing at Five Square will be on Sun 1 Oct at 7pm vs Brighton & Hove Albion.  More details next week but it is the absolute last chance to renew at $30 so clear your calendars for that game and join us!  Remember, as a Plus club we have a higher priority for all match ticket applications so sign up if you are even considering a trip to London this season! For the upcoming sp*rs home game we got 6/6 tickets, 100% allocation!!

VIP Match Experience

From the results of your emails, it looks like either the Man Utd or the Newcastle game in December will be the VIP match, and we have written in to Arsenal to ask if either game is available.  The Man Utd one may be tough to get and the ticket deadline is too soon but the Newcastle game weekend of 16 December looks likely.  The actual match schedule has not been fixed, TV fixtures will be announced on 12 October so if you are planning to go to either match you need to allow for the possibility that the match could be on Friday or Monday night so plan accordingly.

Match ticket applications for Man Utd, BATE Borisov (who?), Newcastle, Liverpool and Chelsea are now open, please see  and email

That’s it for this week!
