Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,
It’s me again with this week’s exclusive updates on the Arsenal Masters football. Prez Jin Yan is currently cruising at 39,000 feet and unable to pen this week’s newsletter (read: lazy). So I was tasked to say a few words (read: arrowed)… LOL.
Folks, this week is all about the ARSENAL MASTERS!! Yes, all 16 players will be in Singapore – Pires, Kanu, Gilberto, Lauren, Winterburn, Limpar, Schwarz and others. They were in Balikpapan (Indonesia) over the weekend for another match as well. So they had their warm-up match there and it’s win or bust at National Stadium this Saturday.
As of today, this is the latest information on activities lined up for this week.
Wednesday 8th Nov
7pm-9pm @ Five Square – Meet & Greet by Budweiser.
Budweiser Singapore is organising this event. Get to meet Anders Limpar, Stefan Schwarz, Rami Shaaban and Gus Caesar. Tickets are still available at the door. Free entry with purchase of 1st drink. Sound like a good deal to me!
Thursday 9th Nov
7pm-9pm @ Five Square – Official Welcome Party.
Five Square will host this event and we will have 100 Arsenal SG members there who have already secured their tickets months ago. Tickets are completely SOLD OUT! Take note doors open at 5.30pm. Event starts at 7pm. There will be a queue number system based on time registered at door. This is to ensure everything flows smoothly and there will not be a rush at the door or inside Five Square.
This event is organized by Five Square with Masters Football, not by Arsenal Singapore. So please follow all their instructions and announcements when you attend the event tomorrow. Thanks for your understanding.
Saturday 11th Nov
7pm-9.30pm @ National Stadium – Arsenal v Liverpool v Singapore Masters.
Gates will open at 5.30pm. Arsenal Singapore Exco Team will try to reserve Section 111 at the South Zone (Arsenal area). Look out for us there and we will have Arsenal Singapore banners and flags there – i’m sure you don’t want to accidentally sit with Pool fans eh?
Seats are available on first-come, first-serve basis. Come over and sit with us and recreate the Highbury/Emirates atmosphere like we did during the Barclays Asia Tour in 2015! We have our giant 10m x 10m “Singapore Gooners” floating flag on standby to be unveiled just before kick-off. Sing loud and proud, Gooners!!
