Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,
Many thanks to Sherwin for taking over my newsletter duties and apologies for ‘inflicting’ him on you #sorrynotsorry :p j/k He did a really great job and I’m planning to have him write MOAH in the next few months!
Well I don’t have anything good to write about the game v Southampton except that it’s over, and we lucked out a draw, although clearly there should have been a penalty given to us for the foul on Lacazette but we know we aren’t going to get anything from the refs. #blindbiasedorbought
We comfortably mastered BATE (badum tish) last Friday morning and we drew Ikea (thanks Clarence!), I mean Ostersunds, for the Round of 32 in the Europa League, to be played in February next year. Wonder if they’ll have meatballs at their concession too?
Speaking of meatballs, Arsenal Singapore is having our year-end party on Sat 16 December from 7 to 10pm at Five Square. There will be a buffet dinner (no pork/beef menu and with 3 vegetarian dishes). And is followed by the live screening of Arsenal v Newcastle kickoff 11pm. This is the last game screened at Five Square for the year thanks to SKY and BT moving the rest of our games to the night UK time. #greedygits
Here’s the program for the party:
7pm to 845pm – buffet dinner together with a screening of 89 The Film, a documentary of the wonderful night we beat the scousers 2 nil to win the league at Anfield. Here’s a review of the film:
845pm to 945pm – Fun filled Games and a Lucky Draw with prizes galore, kindly donated by Five Square and their suppliers Chang Beer and Budweiser, Weston Corp and Puma. Here’s a hint, go watch this video and practice, practice, practice! #BeLikeKieran

Finally from 945pm we will hold auctions for 5 items!! PLEASE NOTE: This part of the evening’s program is open to ALL Arsenal Singapore members, even those who were unable to attend the earlier dinner and games as we want to raise as much money as possible. The proceeds will go directly to Children’s Aid Society, who we have been supporting for the past 3-4 years, please bring your cheque books as we DO NOT accept cash:

The items on auction are a 17/18 Arsenal shirt signed by the whole team (picture attached), 2 Arsenal shirts signed by Santi Cazorla, and 2 pairs of Oliver Giroud boots (one signed and one not)
