Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,

Unfortunately we didn’t start the season off with a win but to be fair, Man City are the champions and we are and will be in a rebuilding mode for some time under the new head coach. Our very own Matty G looks very promising and if nothing else, he’s got better hair than Fellaini!!! Arsenal to come out with our own branded shampoo next!! “Free flowing locks to go with our free flowing football”

This weekend, we play Chelski away, kick off early Sunday morning 19 Aug at 1230am but Five Square will be open early and signups and renewals will start at 11pm on Sat 18 Aug. Incidentally, some of you who renewed for 2017/18 still have not come down to collect your membership cards, please note they will be disposed of after 1 September 2018. Also, if you have not renewed yet, your grace period for renewing at $30 ends soon, after which you will have to pay $50. Come and get your fabulous limited edition Arsenal Singapore mug before they run out!

We are planning to form a formal Arsenal Singapore futsal team to play in a league with other supporters clubs. The matches will be played on Monday nights at HYFA (Home United Youth Football Academy at 8 Mattar Road). If you are keen to join, please email ed@arsenalsingapore.com.

Finally, we will be holding our AGM on Sat 25 August before the West Ham game. There will be a complimentary buffet at 730pm followed by the AGM presentations which will end by 9pm.
