Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,

Another loss in the Premier League this past weekend. It’s extremely frustrating for sure but we really could have won it if we had converted at least 3 very glaring, very “scorable” chances. We still need to give the manager a few more weeks as he tries out various combinations of players and as the players themselves adapt to his strategy so let’s be patient and support the team!

This weekend sees Arsenal play West Ham at The Emirates, kick off at 10pm on Saturday 25 August and Five Square will be open. Come down and cheer on The Arsenal! Prior to the match, we will be holding our AGM with a complimentary buffet for current members at 730pm followed by presentations and this will end around 9pm. At the moment there are only a few places left for the dinner so if you wish to attend please sign up with umarani@arsenalsingapore.com.

Redaction Gooners @REDactionAFC, a UK based group of passionate fans put up a Gofundme campaign to pay for a new giant floating banner at The Emirate before each match. They were the ones responsible for the old one which was getting worn. Arsenal Singapore donated £150 and we were thanked and acknowledged in a tweet for it.

Arsenal Singapore has always been mindful of the global nature of the #ArsenalFamily and has always made an effort to be a part of it. In the recent ICC events we received many compliments from Arsenal Australia, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Macau and The Philippines for including their members in our activities like the Ray Parlour wine event and the Futsal competition.

That’s it for this week, see you at Five Square!

Come On Arsenal!!

Best wishes,
Jin Yan
