Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,
After another interlull, we are back again for Premier League matches! This Sunday, 25 Nov at 930pm we kick off away against Bournemouth and Five Square will be open from 730pm. Unfortunately we have had a run of draws, and hopefully we will be back to our winning ways again. There will be collection of membership cards from 8 to 9pm.
Gooners, the charity which we have been supporting, Children’s Aid Society, is organizing their very first Charity Movie Screening of ‘The Grinch’ at The Cathay Cineplex Level 5 on Wed 28 Nov from 630pm. Reminder, our year end party is on Sat 8 Dec from 730pm to 930pm and the game that night is a home game vs Huddersfield Town at 11pm. We will have a buffet dinner (no pork, no beef and some vegetarian choices), plus a charity auction of a shirt signed by Unai Emery, kindly donated by Emirates, drawings made by AFC players at the July fan party and games, quizzes, and prizes galore so sign up for it ASAP. Last year we made it a free event and we had over 20% no shows which led to a lot of wasted food. In order to avoid a repeat, we are charging $10 per person and each member can bring one guest, so $10 for 1 person, $20 for 2. Signups are first come, first served, limited to 100 pax. The whole amount collected will be donated to Children’s Aid Society, none of it will be kept by the club.
