Twenty unbeaten. That’s about all we can say from this game. Could have won it if we hadn’t made schoolboy defensive errors, especially that second goal. WTAF!!?!
Oh well, on to the weekend, Five Square is open for our year end party on Sat 8 Dec from 730pm followed by our home game vs Huddersfield Town at 11pm. We will have a buffet dinner (no pork, no beef and some vegetarian choices), plus a charity auction of 2 Arsenal shirts, one signed by the whole team kindly donated by Puma and the other signed by Unai Emery, kindly donated by Emirates, drawings made by AFC players at the July fan party and games, quizzes, and prizes galore so sign up for it ASAP.
Last year we made it a free event and we had over 20% no shows which led to a lot of wasted food. In order to avoid a repeat, we are charging $10 per person and each member can bring one guest, so $10 for 1 person, $20 for 2. Signups are first come, first served, limited to 75 pax (5 spots left). The whole amount collected will be donated to Children’s Aid Society, none of it will be kept by the club.
Bring your chequebooks, the auction for the signed shirt will start at 10pm! And if you can’t be there but want to bid on that shirt please reply to this newsletter with your MAXIMUM bid and I will bid on your behalf.
