Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,

Our unbeaten run continued with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Huddersfield, thanks to Lucas Torreira scoring the winner with an acrobatic bicycle kick! Our diminutive midfielder has become a key player after being eased into the team by Unai Emery at the start of the season, and his partnership with Xhaka has been one of the reasons for our improved form so far this season. A legend in the making and the type of player we have needed for a very long time. The partyyyyyyy goes on!

Speaking of party, Arsenal Singapore held our annual year-end dinner and charity auction before the Huddersfield match to raise funds for the Children’s Aid Society. There was also a lucky draw where lucky Gooners walked away with some nice prizes including bottles of wine signed by Ray Parlour, which were generously donated by Five Square for the lucky draw. Special thanks go out to PUMA and Emirates too for their kind donation of signed Arsenal memorabilia for the auction and together with our members who attended the dinner, a total of SGD 4,000 was raised from the event.

Calling all futsal enthusiasts! We are forming a team to represent Arsenal Singapore for a futsal tournament that kicks off on 14 Jan 2019. Matches will be played every Monday between 8-10pm (venue TBA). Members who are interested can register via the link below and we will contact you once we have more details.

Five Square will be open from 7:30pm this Sunday for the Southampton vs Arsenal match, so do come down to support our boys in a potentially tricky away match as they seek to maintain their momentum going into the busy festive period. COYG!!!

Best wishes,
