Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,
Hahahaha Deeney got redcarded, Watford lost and we got our first away clean sheet in the Premier League, love it!! #cojones OK it was a laboured win against 10 men and tense as hell, and they looked more likely to score the next goal but 3 points is 3 points. #winugly Keep it up!
On early Friday morning at 3am we are away at Napoli in the Europa League Quarter-final with a 2-0 lead from the 1st leg. Five Oriental will not be open for this match but they will be open from 8pm on Sunday 21 April for our home game v Crystal Palace which kicks off at 11pm. Renewals and signups for the 2019/20 Arsenal Singapore memberships will run from 9pm to 1030pm.
By the end of April, those who have signed up or renewed will receive your membership cards by mail (Singpost willing!) to your mailing address, please make sure it is correct in our database. Besides being a membership card it is also an EZ link card which you can use on your daily commute (SMRT willing!).
Great news, some of the Arsenal Academy (youth) team will be in Singapore from 17 to 21 April to take part in the JSSL Professional Academy 7aside tournament held at Our Tampines Hub. Click the link for fixture timings https://fixtures.jssl-singapore7s.com/2019/division/21172352 Do go and cheer them on if you can, some of them might make it to the first team in the future!!
We have reached out to AFC to see if we can arrange a meet up with the players whilst they are in Singapore so stay tuned.
That’s it for this week,
COME ON ARSENAL!!!
