International watch last week: Guendouzi was called up for the senior squad; Xhaka captained Switzerland for over 70 minutes; Reiss Nelson and Nketiah are on form for the England under-21s; Mkhitaryan scored 2 goals and had an assist as Armenia won 4-2 against Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Matchday this Sunday FIVE, doors will open at 2130pm for Watford vs Arsenal. Come down and cheer on the Red Army as we show some cajones (hopefully).
Important announcements this week including several goodies for our new and renewed Arsenal SG members,
1. Acronis Ray Parlour Events
Acronis Singapore will be organising the following events:
Play Against The Ultimate Arsenal Legend Ray Parlour – featuring Arsenal legend, Ray Parlour. There will be a Soccer match with Ray Parlour for the kids. Arsenal co-branded soccer balls will be given to kids participating the soccer match. Ray will be signing photographs to be given away too.
When: 21 September 2019, Saturday, 10AM-12PM
Where: Canadian International School (Lakeside Campus), Elevated football field, 7 Jurong West Street 41, Singapore 649414
Meet The Sports Titans Event – featuring 3 sports celebrities – Ray Parlour, Claire Louise Jedrek (Singapore’s Only Female Race Driver) & Joseph Schooling (Singapore’s Olympic gold swimmer) Lots of fun activity and creative stimulation for both parents and children.
When: 21 September 2019, 1-3PM
Where: Acronis HQ, Suntec Tower 3, Level 44

For those keen on attending both events, shuttle buses will be booked to leave from the Canadian School to Acronis HQ.
These events are exclusive and by invite only. As such, Ray will be taking photos and providing autographs.
Members are asked to limit the items they wish Ray to sign to TWO ITEMS per head.
Please bring along your NEW MEMBERSHIP CARDS or CONFIRMATION EMAIL (for new members). We will refuse admission for those who do not verify that they are a 19/20 Arsenal SG member.
Attire for the day is also STRICTLY ARSENAL JERSEYS ONLY.
2. Ian Wright Autographed Jersey Auction
As mentioned previously, Adidas Singapore has graciously provided us with a sign 19/20 Arsenal Home M Jersey, signed by none other than second placed all-time highest Arsenal goalscorer, Ian Wright! This will be auctioned off in an upcoming match. All proceeds will go to Children’s Aid Society, Singapore.
We will also giveaway an Arsenal Home L Jersey via lucky draw on the same day.

How:
– The auction will be open to both members and public on the day. it will start at $100 minimum increments of $10. More details will be announced closer to the date
– The giveaway lucky draw is for members and the current Arsenal SG exco only. We will hand out lucky draw stubs at the door to member-attendees on the night at the door and one lucky winner will be drawn from that pool during halftime to walkaway with the 19/20 replica L home jersey
3. Membership
Again, the club would also like to remind those who have not collected their membership cards from the 18/19 season to do so this week.
Members and public can now renew your membership or apply for new membership via our new online portal.
Your membership cards will be mailed to your registered address in our database. This will take about 2 to 3 weeks. So please ensure your mailing address, mobile number and email you have provided is current and accurate.
