Hello Singapore Gooners,
It’s a “new normal” in Singapore, post circuit breaker. Are you getting used to stepping out of your home and breathing fresh air?
If you’re bored out of your minds, well fret not as EPL will restart in just under 2 weeks if all goes well. You have may seen the pics/videos of the team back in training and their “post-lockdown” hairstyles LOL
Here are the first few Arsenal games (all games in UK time).
Wed 17 June – Man City v Arsenal, 8.15pm
Sat 20 June – Brighton v Arsenal, 3pm
Tue 23 June – Southampton v Arsenal, 6pm
27/28 June – Sheffield United v Arsenal (FA Cup)
Thu 2 July – Arsenal v Norwich, 6pm
Fans can only watch them on TV and stadiums will be empty. Clubs are trying to find new ways to liven the atmosphere at stadiums.
Arsenal is reportedly looking into the possibility of “live remote video” so players can also “see the fans on the stands”. Let’s wait for more info on this and see if our Arsenal Singapore members can join this unique experience. Stay tuned, folks!
Lastly, Eddie Nketiah has a special message for all overseas supporters club. Enjoy this video: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=269855847536823
That’s all for this week, Gooners.
Enjoy your weekend! Stay healthy and safe.
