Hello Singapore Gooners,

Any sleepy heads out there today after waking up to catch our “final warm-up game” before EPL restarts this Saturday? It was a warm-up match wasn’t it? LOL

I’m sure Arteta and “Agent Luiz” were just ironing out the kinks before another away game this Saturday. Not sure about you but I thought Leno and Mustafi looked rock solid! The rest, not so much!! 😦

For the remainder of this season, Arsenal Singapore and AFC are thinking of new ways to engage our members and fans worldwide. You may have read, or seen, video walls mounted at football stadiums and fans appear on those screens via Zoom platform mostly. So we have something exciting lined up on a trial basis.

1. Arsenal Singapore online video gathering

This Saturday, we play Brighton at 10pm. To create a unique experience, Arsenal Singapore will host a private Zoom event gathering for our members. In case you miss the atmosphere of watching at the pub, now watch the game in the comfort of your own home and also watching with your fellow Singapore Gooners. Entry is FREE and we can only allow 100 members to log in. FYI, we will not telecast the game on Zoom due to TV rights.

Lance Lim, who is our club’s social media king, will be your Zoom host! You can also submit your half-time score, full-time score and total goals in the “CHAT” box before the game starts.

The first 3 correct entries in each category will win an EXCLUSIVE prize from us. Please indicate your name and membership number together with your predictions on matchday.

This event is purely for our members only and another membership benefit. You can log in from 9.30pm onwards. COYG!!!

2. Premier League online video gathering

The English Premier League is also organizing something similar. The production company would like Arsenal fans worldwide to be part of their video wall during an Arsenal match (they didn’t say which game yet). If you are interested to be part of this, email me your details by Friday 19 June, 12pm SG time. This is only open to the first 10 members. Email to dhanesh@arsenalsingapore.com
