Hello Singapore Gooners,
In 4 days, The Arsenal goes to Wembley again. Now let’s put a smile on that face 🙂
Lots of transfer buzz is circling the club. Arteta has only been our coach for 8 months and already he’s linked to at least 11 players and counting. Who will we sign besides Willian? #AnnounceAnyone
Here are your updates for this week.
1. Membership renewals and new sign-ups
Heads up on this. Starting 1 Sep 2020, we will resume our membership renewals and new sign-ups for the new season. You can do so via our online portal and payment can be made via credit/debit card immediately. No increase in fees – still the same pricing since 2007!
Your membership card will be mailed to your registered address in our database.
Stay tuned to find out what is our renewal gift. It’s yellow…. and bruised! LOL
All will be revealed on 1st Sep.
This link for membership renewal will only be active from 1st Sep onwards: https://members.arsenalsingapore.com/v2/membership
2. Arsenal SG Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2020
We will be holding our AGM on Saturday 29th August, 10pm via Zoom online. This will be on the same night as the Arsenal v Liverpool Community Shield match at 11.30pm (yes, this Saturday!)
This is our first virtual AGM due to current Singapore government restrictions but the show must go on. Exco will review our achievements and activities and reveal plans for the new season ahead. We hope to see our members attend this year’s AGM.
We have 3 Exco members leaving us: Chin Hui, Shakin and Pete. They have worked hard for approx. 3 to 7 years and contributed their blood, sweat and tears to the Club. We thank them for all their contributions!
Most importantly, I believe we may have found a new President to lead this club forward. Find out who this person is during the AGM as well as the line-up of the new Exco team.
I will still be around but that’s it from me and my contribution as Interim President. Next week’s newsletter will be from the New Prez.
Don’t forget, The Arsenal v Liverpool, Community Shield match on Saturday 29th August, 11.30pm. COYG!!!
