Greetings Gooners!

How was last Monday for you? I had a wonderful feeling I cannot explain #hahaha and because of that, there’s a surprise treat for everyone. Keep reading ok!!

A bit about the match against Dundalk FC, that looked more like an exhibition match than an actual Europa League competition. Imagine a football team comprising of ‘Uncles’ playing a weekend friendly against a team of young boys at Jalan Besar Stadium. It’s like that. Arsenal could afford to play against them with only one established centreback and with Mustaffi no less. After 42 minutes of absorbing Arsenal’s attacks, Dundalk conceded 2 goals within 2 minutes. We eventually won the match 3-0, with Runarsson and Balogun making their debuts. It was a good match to boost the team’s confidence.

And finally, after 14 long years, we beat Man United at Old Trafford. Frustrating it was, to watch us wasting scoring chances created in the first half, again and again and again, like in the previous matches, but a solitary goal by Aubameyang from the spotkick, was sufficient for a redemption after two straight losses in the Premier League. Enough said! And I like seeing Partey and Elneny in midfield #mothomasmopartey Both were my men of the match.

Another packed week ahead before the international break. Arsenal hosts a Norwegian side, Molde FK, on Friday, 6 November 2020 at 4 am for the Europa League group stage and Aston Villa for a Premier League match on 9 November 2020 at 3.15 am.
