Arsenal Singapore Newsletter, 16 December 2020

Greetings Gooners!

This newsletter seems like a repeat of the previous weeks, given the fact that Arsenal have been consistently losing in the premier league but unbeaten in the group stage of the Europa League.

The Arsenal remained at the top of the group after beating Dundalk 2-4 and will be playing against a stronger opponent, Benfica in the next round of the Europa tie. On the other hand, the team remained at 15th position after a home loss of 0-1 against Burnley. I really cannot grasp their current form at the moment. This must have been a worst situation for Arteta and it is so clear that changes have to be made, to the team, tactics, planning, etc. But it’s not up to us isn’t it! #sigh

Tomorrow, 17 December 2020, Arsenal hosts Southampton at 2 am for a Premier League match. It is expected for the home side to win the game. The tables have now turned and Arsenal is no longer superior. I think Walcott might seek to destroy Arsenal. Following that, Arsenal travels to Goodison Park to play Everton on Sunday, 20 December 2020 at 1.30 am. And what might Iwobi do against us!!

Last Saturday, about 60 members took part in the Arsenal Sg Virtual Run 2020They took the challenge, pushed themselves, braved the rain for some and completed the 5 km. it was all for good fun and good health. There will be a private zoom session for the participants on this Saturday, 19 December 2020 at 10.30 pm, pre-Everton match. One of them will win a signed, framed-print of Aubameyang.

Till next time.. COYG!!
