Greetings Gooners!!
Last week was great isn’t it! Revenge was sweet when Arsenal finally overcame Southampton to win 1-3 after drawing and losing against them. It was so good to see the look on Walcott when he was substituted during the match. When Southampton scored first, I thought it would be a repeat of the FA Cup match. But Arsenal played some splendid football and scored three against them, with a few key players not in the line-up.
On Sunday, Arsenal played against Man United, who was reeling from a loss against Sheffield United previously. It was a hard fought, goalless match and Arsenal truly deserved the draw. Did you see Leno make the super-duper airborne, one-hand save from a strike by Fred that caused Superman to tear a bit?
It has been alright so far for Arsenal. The January transfer window saw Ozil, Kolasinac and Mustafi left the club permanently while AMN and Willock went for season-long loan with West Brom and Newcastle respectively. The club brought in Mathew Ryan and Martin Odegaard. Let’s see how these changes pan out for Arsenal!
Arsenal travels to the Molineux this Wednesday, 3 February 2021 at 2 am to play against Wolves and then to Villa Park on Saturday, 6 February 2021 for an early kick-off at 8.30 pm. COYG!!
