The results for Arsenal last week were not so great. And the newsletter too, with some misinformation. #myapologies
The 1-1 score line against Benfica seemed alright but when Arsenal could have chalked up more away goals, it felt a little wasted. Had Auba worn his scoring boots for that game, it would have reduced the pressure when Arsenal plays the return leg. Hopefully that 1 goal is a vital one.
The match against Man City was fascinating. At some point in the game, Arsenal played better football than City. This was probably a game between two shrewd and intelligent tacticians. Overall, Arteta won, in terms of tactics but Pep won the important 3-point eventually. Despite Arsenal conceding a very early goal, it was tough to equalize against a team who has been winning in the last 10 matches.
Next, Arsenal travels to Athens for the match against Benfica this Friday, 26 February 2021 at 1.55 am and then to King Power to play Leicester on Sunday, 28 February 2021 for an early kick-off at 8.00 pm. COYG!!
