Greetings Gooners,

Oh my! I had a good sleep this week. No champions or European League to watch in the middle of the night. I have to get used to it this season #meh. 

Finally, 3-points for Arsenal in the EPL. The team is no longer at the bottom. It’s a mixed reaction for me with the win against Norwich. We bagged the three points and that’s ultimate, after 3 losses. But how we won, is another perspective altogether. At certain point, I was hoping and praying that Pukki didn’t Mak us. And he didn’t! It was a clean sheet for the debutant, Ramsdale.

Our attacking play is still a work in progress. It didn’t have that fluidity that brought the superb goal by Wilshere 7 years ago. There’s no composure and mostly desperate attempts despite taking 30 shots at goal. Aubameyang was left with no support from the others. Pepe was once again useless, selfish and unfocussed. He’s still not worth the pounds we paid for him. What is refreshing though is our new signings, especially Tomiyasu. They provided the much-needed excitement.

And the work is still in progress. So let’s give Arteta some time. Next up is against the team who just lost to Everton and looking to beat Arsenal at Turf Moor. The match is tomorrow, 18 September 2021 at 10 pm. Come on Arsenal!
