I have two not so good news to share with you this morning.

First, our own virtual run event, slated for 11 December 2021 has been canceled. The sign-ups were very low and it is not feasible to make it happen. The Club appreciates the members who have registered and decided to contribute their payments to the charity fund.  

Next, Arsenal lost the last 2 matches against the Red Devils and the Toffees. The Gunners are now placed in the 7^th position, in the shadows of West Ham, Man United and Spurs, who have a game in hand. What has happened and what can happen?

Based on the past performance, Arsenal is going a bit downhill. Their play has become predictable. Man U and Spurs have a new manager now and a resurgence to the teams is expected. One of our members, Boycey, quoted this, “I know we’re young, I know there’s a project, but the fact that we’ve lost many games and scored so few goals under Arteta is absolutely shocking”. Somehow, the statement resonates with me. Anyhow, Arsenal just have to buck-up and find their Mojo.

Arsenal’s next game is against Southampton this Saturday, 11 December 2021 at 11.00 pm. COYG!!

Guess the Score competition

Submit your prediction for the Southampton game, from now until one-hour before kick-off on Saturday, to janeil@arsenalsingapore.com and shai@arsenalsingapore.com with your name, membership number and the score-line for entry.

At the end of the season, the member with the most points gets a $120 voucher. All participants will also enter a lucky draw and three winners will be picked to win an Arsenal 2022/2023 home kit.
