Greeting Gooners,

Arsenal started the 2022 with a heart-aching loss. Despite that, the game showcased so much positivity in the way Arsenal played and how Man City was outplayed. Until now, I still tell myself, ‘if only Martinelli had scored from that rebound’. Well, in order to win sometimes, you need luck, skills and tactics, composure or some may say, corruption. Despite having VAR, the outcome went against us. That’s football, full of ups and downs. 

Next game, on paper, is the 3rd round of the FA Cup, since the Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool has been postponed. Both matches are equally important. Arsenal needs to win something this season and those cups have a direct path to European competition. The team deserves it for the extraordinary journey they’ve gone through this season.

Due to the postponement, Arsenal has to play consecutive matches in lightning speed unless midway there is postponement. But the EPL game against Spurs is the most important. A win against them would solidify the 4th position in the table.  

I look forward to the next Arsenal’s away game on 10 January 2021 at 1.10 am against Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal Sg membership card design competition

In conjunction with our Club’s 15-year anniversary, we would like members to design the membership card for the 2022/2023 season. The format of the card is the same as the current one. We are looking at the design of the background to commemorate our 15-year existence. We have done bruised banana, blackcurrant, etc. What’s next!!

Three cash prizes to be won, $100, $50 and $30, for the top 3 submissions. You can submit several designs but only one prize for each member.
