Arsenal 3 – 0 FK Bodo/Glimt
Arsenal 3 – 2 Liverpool
2 wins from 2! A comfortable 3-0 against FK Bodo/Glimt was followed up with an exhilarating 3-2 win against Liverpool. Kudos to those who came down to #WTF despite it being a late Sunday night kick off making it a special night for all. Gabriel Martinelli started the scoring within seconds for a dream start and turned provider just before half time for Saka to poke home to go into the break 2-1 up. Huge sigh of relief at #WTF but there was still a sense of nervousness in the air as the 2nd half began. True enough, Liverpool equalised albeit against the run of play with Firmino who seem to always score against us. The game ended with Bukayo Saka, stepping up for what was a well struck penalty, Allison dived but got no where close to the ball. What a win and still top of the league! I don’t know for how long and if we can maintain in top, but I don’t care, just keep doing what we’re doing and take it a game at a time! COYGs!
Next 2 games:
14 Oct 2022 12.45am: FK Bodo/Glimt vs Arsenal no live screening
16 Oct 2022 9pm: Leeds vs Arsenal LIVE at #WTF
Another 2 games coming up this week with a return game at FK Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League. Game will be on Friday morning 12.45am, hoping that Nelson gets more time on the pitch and give Martinelli and Saka more of a break as they really put a shift in against Liverpool and have them fresh for the games coming up.
On to the weekend’s game, Sunday 9pm Leeds vs Arsenal LIVE at #WTF. An away trip to Leeds beckons as we seek to maintain our spot at the top of the table. On paper, it should be 3 points in the bag, hoping that the lads do not get complacent and do a professional job at Elland Road. COYGs!

Anyone interested in purchasing match tickets through the club, please email to dhanesh@arsenalsingapore.com for details and enquiries.
