Arsenal Singapore Newsletter, 10 May 2021

To my beloved Arsenal,

What have you done to me? Life has no meaning now that there’s nothing left for us to play this season. I am devastated!! I bought all your 3 jerseys and even “the don’t know how many of the launched training/pre-match” shirts. Is this the way you repay my love for you?? Sigh..

Because of you, I volunteered to be the president of Arsenal Singapore so that I can rally all the Singapore fans to support you. You have caused so much sadness to us and I’m so sad that the fans are now disappointed…

I understand that ours is a long-distance relationship and it’s tough for the both of us. And because of Covid, I can’t travel to see you. We can only do online arrangements and it is not enough for me. It has been more than a year now that I cannot see you in the flesh. I have been patient and understanding with you. But you have recently f*#@ up my life.

And now that you’re no longer in Euro anymore, I am shattered and very disappointed. Yes, you’ve not won any Euro competition since 1994 but still, being there has a certain privilege and class. How can I show off about you to my friends? They’ll definitely make fun of you and that will upset me further. Plus, being in Euro will garner more income for you.

So what are you going to do about this? Will you get a new Sugar Daddy? Cos this Kroenke sucks big time. He did not spend so much, plus he asked you to break up with me by joining the stupid Super League. K**!! Can you diss him and get a new one? I heard he is handsome, young and loaded.

You know I still love you and I will do anything for you. Maybe we can start all over again. Take it slow this time, focus on the domestic competition since there is no Euro for us. I will ask the Singapore fans to give you a chance and love you like I love you.

Loving you always and all ways..

Your disgruntled lover,

Arsenal Singapore

Arsenal Singapore Newsletter, 3 May 2021

Greetings Singapore Gooners,

A 2-0 win against Newcastle in the EPL to start this new week. What was Arsenal playing for at this stage of the EPL? Glory, reputation or to quickly end one of the worst seasons for the club. For me, I think Arsenal is playing for the fans. Nothing to play for but it was good to win for us fans.

It’s quite clear, after Arsene left, not one has been able to fill his shoes. The consequences were huge. Anyone wanted Arsene to leave the last time?? #Lol

Many of you missed the session with Arsenal Legend, Emmanuel Petit, last Saturday. He was very honest and candid with his perspective on Arsenal. He was not comfortable with what’s happening in Arsenal at the moment. It was also pretty clear that Viera is still his BFF. We now know that at the age of 51, his long mane remains healthy and well kept. His secret: Wash his hair twice a week. Hmmm, not in Singapore’s weather mate!

We also launched our new membership card for the 2021/2022 season. It’s a non-EZ link enabled card. It’s the historical end-of-an era (Highbury ≠ Covid), Red-currant card. Watch a very short video in our social media to see the card. The club is giving a special Covid discount to all members to renew their membership at $20 only instead of $30. Renewal starts from 1 May 2021 until 31 October 2021. The link to renew:

In addition, we have partnered with Weston Corp for the coming season for members to obtain discounted Arsenal merchandise. More details will be shared once we have received confirmation on the terms and conditions.

This week, Arsenal hosts Villarreal on Friday, 7 May 2021 at 3 am for the second leg of the Europa League semi-final. It’ll be a massive game for Arsenal, the only route left for European competition next season. And then, on early Monday morning, 10 May 2021 at 2 am, Arsenal hosts West Brom for the EPL.

By the way the Gooner that was charged for threatening an EPL player is not our member.
More news in time to come. COYG!!

Arsenal Singapore Newsletter, 26 April 2021

Hei Singapore Gooners!

Let’s forget about the loss against Everton last week. There is an important semi-final match against Villarreal on Friday, 30 April 2021 at 3 am.

But the most important of all, is the end-of-season Zoom gathering for our members on 1 May 2021, from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Arsenal Legend, Emmanuel Petit, will be joining us and I hope Arsenal Singapore will give him a big welcome. This is the final social event of the season and I urge everyone to join in the fun for this coming Labour Day. If the London Gooners had organised a strike successfully #kroekeout, Singapore Gooners can also have a peaceful and enjoyable gathering #whynot.

The following outlines the programme’s highlight:

a. 4.30 pm: Registration, administration, tribute to the late Alvin New, 10 quickfire quizzes to win Petit-autographed photographs.

b. 5.00 pm: Welcome Petit and commencement of Q&A session.

c. 5.45 pm: Charity auction of 3 Arsenal team signed shirts for Children’s Aid Society.

d. 6.15 pm: Special Launch for members.

e. 6.30 pm: End of event.

Please email to and, with your name and membership number to register.

Follow our social media for more insights of the event!

Come on you Gooners!!
