Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,

Well that was a pretty good few days for us, we beat BATE 3-0 (agg. 3-1) to go through to the Round of 16 of the Europa League and we drew Rennes so it will be a physically less tiring trip for our players.

We also beat Southampton on Sunday AND got a clean sheet too and to top it all off, scum lost to Burnley, their manager is in trouble with the FA; Pool and ManU drew and Chelski’s keeper Kepa refused to obey his manager and then didn’t save enough penalties to win the League Cup! Now if only I had won the Hong Bao TOTO as well 😉

So we have a home game v Bournemouth early Thursday morning but the pub won’t be open for this but on Sat 2 March, Five Oriental will be screening the NLD at 8:30pm. We’ve won more trophies at Wembley than they have so let’s treat this as another Cup Final and do the double over them this season and prove that #NLIR. Come down and join us and cheer on The Gunners!!

That’s it for this week!

COME ON ARSENAL!!!

Best wishes,
Jin Yan

Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,

Hope you enjoyed your Lunar New Year festivities and to all of you, HUAT AH!!!!!

Unfortunately all we can say about Arsenal is WHAT AH!!!!! How did they lose to Bate? Luckily still got home leg this coming Friday morning at 2am to try to beat them and go through to the next round.

This weekend we are back to playing in the PL against Southampton and we lost on the away leg (sounds familiar eh?) so we need to get the 3 points and preferably with a clean sheet too. Five Oriental will be open for this match on Sun 24 Feb from 8pm, (k.o. is 1005pm).

And in case you haven’t seen it yet and you are missing him a lot (like moi) here’s a video of him after he received the Lifetime Award by Laureus.

Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,

We didn’t have a good day at the office in the FA cup competition last weekend but fortunately we did beat Cardiff City 2-1 on Wed morning and thanks to Bournemouth’s 4-0 win over Chelsea last night, we are in 4th place in the league for now! Hopefully we can get a result against Man City this weekend and stay in the running for the last CL position.

Our game v City is on at 1230am on Mon 4 Feb but due to the CNY holidays, Five Oriental will be CLOSED so no live viewing this weekend either. They will be definitely be open for the next game on Sat 9 Feb 11pm vs Huddersfield Town.

The exco and I would like to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and prosperous Lunar New Year! And if you haven’t seen it yet, here’s some Arsenal players wishing you the same 😀

The transfer window closes on 1st Feb at 7am Singapore time, will we get anyone else on loan besides Suarez? No, not the biting scouser, but Denis Suarez from Barcelona. Fingers crossed!!

That’s it for this week!

COME ON ARSENAL!!!

Best wishes,
