Hello Singapore Gooners,

The circuit breaker has been declared. Again, Arsenal Singapore would like to take this opportunity to thank all the frontline workers for their dedication in these trying times and to wish all our members the best of health.

1. Arsenal Singapore Membership Renewals 2020/2021 Season

It is that time of the year again where we begin our membership renewals.

In view of the recent COVID-19 situation and the frozen season, we have decided to hold back on reopening membership renewals until we get more clarity on both the current and new season.

We seek your kind understanding on this and hope to have your support once renewals start again.

2. Arsenal Singapore Corona Virus Tips

1: Stay home and choose a past season to focus on (e.g. The Invincibles of 2003/2004)

2: Rewatch matches of the season from start to finish

3: Feel nostalgic and focus on the positives

4: Energise yourself to work and take care of yourself and your families at home

5: Practice good hygiene, wash your hands frequently with soap and water

Hello Singapore Gooners,

Three wins in a row and we hope to make it four this Saturday against Brighton (subject to change with the coronavirus developments).

If all is well, we will screen the 11pm match this Saturday at Harry’s Boat Quay, 2nd floor. To help to anticipate attendance, please indicate your interest on our matchday poll on our Facebook page.

1. Harry’s Boat Quay: Arsenal Singapore’s New Interim Home

Harry’s Boat Quay is our new interim venue for match screenings – until the end of this season! Enjoy the cooling atmosphere with our very own bar on the 2nd floor.

Members enjoy 15% discount (Arsenal Singapore members will soon be able to enjoy these discounts islandwide) on regular priced F&B items and $10 Heineken pints – they are extra bubbly, we’ve tried them! Just flash your Arsenal Singapore membership card to enjoy these discounts!

2. Jack Wilshere Signed Matchballs: Secret Bid Auction

Super Jacky Wilshere signed 2 balls for the Muscular Dystrophy Association Singapore (MDAS) back when Arsenal visited in 2015.

Here’s where you come in.

We are offering the balls up for a secret auction where members can email Lance (lance@arsenalsingapore.com) to submit their bid for both/either of the two balls (one size 5 and the other size 3). Please submit your bids with the title ‘Jack Wilshere Ball Secret Auction’.

Here’s how to do this:

1. State your name, membership number, email and mobile number.
2. Please indicate which ball(s) you are bidding for and the amount you wish to bid.
3. Minimum bid amount is $50 per ball.
4. Members are limited to one bid for each ball.
5. Bidding closes on 20th March 2020, 2359 hours.

We will announce the lucky winners on Facebook on 21st March and also contact them via email.

6. Members with successful bids will be required to submit online donation to MDAS directly within 5 days. Once the donation has been made, members will be notified to collect the ball(s) themselves from MDAS office at Bishan Junction 8.

7. In the event there are multiple bids with the same amount for each ball, the first entry received will be declared the successful bid. Arsenal Singapore Exco team’s decision will be final.

Thank you Gooners for being so generous! Be A Gooner, Be A Giver!
