What a week it’s been! As things stand, we will be Holding a White Rice Partey when the season resumes. The signing of Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber is still pending the medical test & contract signing to be official but it looks like Don Arteta and Edu has gotten their number 1 target of the season. Price tag aside, Declan Rice is a good addition to our midfield there has to be a reason why Mikel and Edu went all out to get him over the line and I guess we got to trust the manager’s judgement and look forward to how he’s going to set up our midfield in the coming season. Now, back to our sunny shores, here are a couple of updates. It’s worth it, trust me.
VIP Matchday experience for North London Derby 23 Sept 2023
EXLCUSIVE treat for our members. We have been informed by Arsenal FC that our club has been selected for an exclusive VIP Matchday Experience for the North London Derby: Arsenal v Spurs on 23 Sep 2023.
The last time we had such an opportunity was the Newcastle game in December 2017 when our Singapore Gooners had the chance to meet Aaron Ramsey and took a photo together with the group.
Here are the details:
With ticket demand for home matches being increasingly high especially with the way our team performed last season, AFC wants Singapore Gooners to have an opportunity to watch the game together in a group.
1. The Matchday consists of a pre-match greet where your group will come down to where the teams arrive and see them enter the ground. A great opportunity to see them up close and personal and of course to make plenty of noise welcoming them in true Arsenal fashion.
To manage expectations at this point the players are very much in pre-match mode so they rarely, if ever, stop so especially if you have younger members attending please make it clear to all that this is the likely scenario.
2. After this you are escorted back to the Armoury store where you will be entitled to a discount on anything you wish to purchase.
3. Your seats for the match will be all together so you can enjoy the game with your fellow members.
4. After the game your group will come back to the pitchside area where the players tunnel is and we then get a player to come and have a photograph taken with the group.
Again to be totally honest this can take some time and members needs to be prepared to wait as the players have to do their press commitments etc before coming out.
5. This is the procedure for weekend afternoon games. Evening games are different in that we will only be able to provide the pre-match greet element as the stadium closes after the game for night matches as soon as it can.
6. Last point to make is that of course TV will affect dates and therefore the VIP visits are often subject to change and even cancellation as a result.

Each member is only allowed to apply for 1 match ticket. Normal ticket allocation rules will apply as listed on our website.
Take note that our maximum group size is 15 members only. Match ticket is SGD $205 each.
