Our member Kelvin Tan shares his visit to The Arsenal to watch the team take on Tottenham Hotspurs in September 2023.

I’ve been an Arsenal fan for decades since we won the League in 89 thanks to Michael Thomas, and since then going to Highbury, then the Emirates, has always been like going home.

The Arsenal SG chapter has been a great fan club to be a part of all these years, and through it, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting greats (and not so greats) such as Wenger, Fabregas, Flamini, Adebayor (cough) and so on, and this trip as a fan club we managed to meet (albeit briefly) William Saliba, as well as welcome the team bus in before our clash with Sp*rs. 

While the scoreline ended up 2-2, we all know who the better club is in North London!

It made for a great match day experience, and as always, thanks for the memories Arsenal Singapore!

It’s great to return home.
