I visited the Emirates once back in the summer of 2016 during the off season and since then it had always been a wish to go back to Emirates to watch an Arsenal game.

Decided to go ahead and try to realize that wish recently and I was so happy to be able get the opportunity when Dhanesh told me that I was successful in getting the ticket to the game vs Palace.

The fatigue from the long haul flight was all gone when I passed by the Emirates stadium on my train from the airport, realizing that I will be part of 60,000 crowd watching the game in a couple pf days.

I stayed in Finsbury Park and hence decided to take a walk to Emirates, wanting to soak in the pre match atmosphere and mingle with fellow Gooners. The weather was great despite the cold temperature, seemingly telling me that a great game was coming my way.

Indeed the boys did not disappoint, putting a 5 star performance, sending Palace home with 5 great goals. The atmosphere in the stadium was electrifying too and the noise just went up many levels when Martinelli scored that 2 late goals.

The icing on the cake was probably when Gabriel scored the first goal. I just got a feeling that we gonna score a goal as we lined up for the corner, decided to whip out for my phone to capture the moment. Was so thrilled to capture the moment!
