Our member Luo Ziyi shares his visit to The Arsenal to watch the team take on Brentford in March 2024.

“KING KAI!

An early goal by Rice settled the Emirates but the stadium expected more. Instead, an error by Ramsdale dampened the mood just before half-time. Penalties by junior gunners versus Gunnersaurus provided some half time entertainment and helped to lift the mood at the Emirates. In the second half, Ramsdale kept us in the game with a few incredible saves as Brentford stayed strong. And then KING KAI! Finally another goal for Arsenal in the 86th minute. Kai Havertz scores again. Well after the final whistle, Waka Waka Eh Eh was still echoing in and around the stadium.

The atmosphere at the Emirates this year was miles beyond the games in the 18/19 season we were able to witness. An incredible job by the manager to turn things around. We must believe in the manager and team to bring back glory days.

Many thanks to Dhanesh and the team at Arsenal Singapore Supporters Club for the opportunity to watch the game live! Looking forward to many more in the future!”

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
