Hello Singapore Gooners!
Much appreciation to the 50 people who turned up for the live screening at Molly last weekend and witnessed a great win against the Villains. It could have been Ollie Watkins 2 – Arsenal 2, but thanks to that super save from our Number 22, Arsenal walked away with 3 points and 3rd place in the league. Hopefully, the boys can repeat a similar feat against them at the Emirates for a double.
Once again, we seek your patronage at Molly and attend as many matches as possible. Molly informed us that their kitchen closes at 10 pm. For now, they allow us to bring outside food to the venue, while considerations are being made to extend the kitchen hours.
Arsenal hosts Brighton next, on 31 August 2024 at 7.30 pm. It is expected that for a game this early, we will have a larger crowd and hence, will move the live screening to another venue at BQ Bar, 39 Boat Quay S(049828). This is a river facing location. Let’s be there and gather for another big match. Look out for the EXCO for any queries. There’s no reservation. Come early and book your spot. There will be both indoor and outdoor seating for the screening.
Arsenal SG Charity Golf 2024
The club is organizing its inaugural charity golf event for our members and friends, to be held on 26 October 2024 at Sukajadi Golf Course, Batam. This is a friendly event and it is open to beginner golfers too. Each member can invite a maximum of 3 non-members. We need a minimum of 36 players to proceed with the event. Members pay $270 and non-members pay $300, covering the golf fee, caddy/buggy, 2-way ferry with express clearance, buffet lunch, charity contribution and many more. There were feedbacks that ‘members’ did not adhere to the terms and were refused purchase at the store. Do note of the following conditions:
- Members can purchase the jerseys ONLY at Weston Peninsula outlet, 3 Coleman Street #04-09 S(179804). There is no pre-order required and members can walk-in to the store to make the purchase. Whilst stock last.
- Members MUST PHYSICALLY PRODUCE THE LATEST 2024/2025 MEMBERSHIP CARD to make the purchase.
- Members can only purchase one of each type of Home/Away/Third jersey. Eg: One replica shirt, one authentic shirt, one youth shirt, etc. Cannot buy 2 replica shirts.
- Promotion ends on November 30, 2024.
- Arsenal merchandise not reflected in the list have already been discounted so memberships will not provide additional discounts for those
- 10% discounts on printing and badges. Keep the receipt if the member intends to do this another day but the shirt must be unworn

Other News
Those who have been to Modestos in the past would have been familiar with one of their staff, Deen. Sadly, he passed away on the morning of August 27, 2024, at the age of 49-year-old. He left behind a wife and 2 young children. Any members who wish to make any contribution, kindly do so via Paynow at 98440234 and WhatsApp the same number with the details. Collection is until August 30, 2024.
