Happy midweek Singapore Gooners!
There was a great turnout at BQ Bar last weekend. Kudos to those who were there. If only I was there to bask in the excitement but I had to watch the game in KL instead. The 1-1 draw against Brighton felt like a win in my opinion. 10 players against a resilient Brighton proved very tough to seal a win, notwithstanding the inconsistent decisions by the referee. It’s like Rice drove his BMW along PIE at 92 km/h and the Traffic Police summoned him for speeding an additional 2 km/h. But before that, Pedro drove his Toyota at 93 km/h but the Traffic Police missed him because the officer was adjusting the speed camera at that time. Human factor issue and biasness perhaps but it was a condemning red card. Well, Rice will be hugely missed at the next big match.
It is international break this week with most of our players away representing their nations. Let’s pray that they return unscathed to prepare for the NLD.

Arsenal Sg Charity Golf 2024
We have 15 players registered for our inaugural charity golf event. We need a minimum of 36 players to make this happen. Let’s do this! The event is slated on 26 October 2024 at Sukajadi Golf Course, Batam. This is a friendly event and a member can invite a maximum of 3 non-members. Members pay $270 and non-members pay $300, covering the golf fee, caddy/buggy, 2-way ferry with express clearance, buffet lunch, charity contribution and many more.
