Happy Tuesday and it’s already October!

It’s been three weeks in a row that we have midweek games, which only means that I have to prepare another early newsletter again. Stress lah!

Two wins from last week, Woo Hoo! Arsenal ends September with a 5-1 thumping of Bolton and a 4-2 triumph against Leicester. I know right, at one point, we thought the game would end with a draw after that solid strike from Justin. But what can I say, our Rock DJ Robbie Williams aka Trossard, swept that corner kick from Saka and the ball magically went through a packed Leicester’s defence and ricocheted into the net. Such a huge, huge relief for that win and a deserving 3 points subsequently.

These 2 recent games also convinced me why Calafiori is such a highly rated Italiano. He was especially good against Leicester. And who the hell is the boy in number 53 named Nwaneri! A brace against Bolton and he probably scared some of the Leicester players with his movement when he came on to replace Partey. He is Arsenal’s future but still raw at the senior level. More polishing from Arteta for sure.  

So, what will it be this week, against the French Champion and the Saints? Another 2 wins? Let’s see.
