Our member Shamir Nair shares his visit to The Arsenal to watch the team take on Brighton in August 2024.

It was good to be back at the carpet (which looked pristine as always) almost exactly one year later after a home draw on the 3rd game of the 23/24 season. Unfortunately, we were unable to claim all 3 points and ended the 3rd game of the season with a home draw again.  

Irrespective of the result, it’s always a fun experience being around fellow Gooners. It was heartening to see the fans support and rally team despite the many adversities that we faced till the final whistle. Thank you Arsenal Singapore once again for making this possible. I’m sure I’ll be back and hopefully I can end my personal Emirates Stadium curse!
