Happy midweek Gooners!  

Arsenal advanced to the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup after winning 0-3 against Preston. We play Palace next in the competition. And Jesus finally scored in the game, ending his goal drought. But that is apparently not enough for him to make it in the starting 11 against Newcastle. An abysmal performance by the Gunners at St James Park last weekend. There was no creativity, authenticity, and urgency from the Arsenal players after Newcastle had scored in the first quarter of the game. And this time, there is no referee to blame for the result. It is 100% Arsenal’s culpability for the outcome. With that, it is 3 Premiership’s games with no win. Bad result is acceptable, but bad performance, hmmm.

In other news, Invincibles Edu Gaspar has left Arsenal for good after returning to the club in July 2019. Pursuing different challenges as his reason but it is the money lah! Overall, he had done great things for the club and we wished him well in his new endeavors. Hope we get a better Sporting Director to replace him.          

Two away matches to play this week. A Champions League against Inter Milan on Thursday, 6 November 2024 at 4 am. Next, is a London-derby against high-flying Chelsea on Monday, 11 November 2024 at 12.30 am. Live screening of the derby will be shown at Molly Malone’s. Come down if you can! Can we overcome this minor setback and get a positive result? We can at least get to 4th position in both leagues.
