Happy Tuesday!
What a comeback by Arsenal after the international break! A 3-nil thumping against Forest at the Emirates. It seems like Arteta is trying something new with the team. Many would agree that we could have scored more. The combination between Odegaard and Saka is fascinating to watch. The passing and movement between them were sublime. Overall, it was a fantastic performance and a good win to spur the team further.
The weekend also saw Man City suffer another loss, this time against the Cocks. Huge favour from them. City was trashed at home. It was a rare event. And somehow, Liverpool managed to beat the Saints to a score of 1-2 and they are 8 points clear at the top of the table. Arsenal remains in 4th place, at 22 points with Chelsea and Brighton. More games to play, and still very early at this stage!
2 tough matches this week. The first match is an away CL game against Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese side is on a 14-match unbeaten streak at home. This team had beaten Man City convincingly, and I am very sure they want to prove another point with Arsenal. The game is scheduled on Wednesday, November 27 Nov 2024 at 4 am. No live screening.
Following that is a London Derby against the Hammers on Sunday, 1 Dec 2024, at 1.30 am. They have just beaten Newcastle. It is never easy playing away at the London Stadium. Hopefully, our ex-Arsenal, Fabianski, can give us a hand or two. No live screening.
