Happy Tuesday Gooners!

It is always pleasant to beat Man United. 2 goals from corner kicks were sufficient to earn that 3-point at the Emirates. The game wasn’t as fluid and entertaining as the previous week but it is the result that matters. And talking about result, the weekend game against Fulham ended in a 1-1 draw. Arsenal dominated the match but just did not have that happy ending. I believe that most of us celebrated madly with that Saka’s goal and then this quickly turned into despair when it was ruled offside. It has never been easy to play at Craven Cottage.

The cocks did not do us a favour this time as well. After beating Man City, they cannot do a repeat against Chelsea. After last week’s matches, Arsenal now lies in third place. 23 more games to play.

Two matches slated this week. Arsenal host Monaco in the Champions League. Our ex-player, Balogun, seems to be injured for the match. Monaco is doing well domestically. So, it will be a tight match. The game is scheduled on Thursday, 12 Dec 2024 at 4.00 am. No live screening.

The team then plays Everton at home. The Toffees should be well prepared and rested for this game after their match was postponed last week. Match is on Saturday, 14 Dec 2024 at 11 pm. Live screening will be at Molly Malone’s. Be there!

Separately, kindly reserve 25 January 2025 for our mid-season party. There will be games, lucky draw and an auction of a signed jersey. More details will be provided in time to come.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
