It’s Christmas, Ho Ho Ho!
And Jesus has resurrected… Gabriel Fernando De Jesus I mean, who had a scoring drought and a dip of form when he suddenly rose from the Emirates ground to score a hatrick in the Carabao quarter finals against the Eagles. The 3-2 win ensured that Arsenal advanced to the semi-final, to play against the Toon Army.
Jesus continued his streak at Selhurst Park and he nearly got another hatrick. But 2 goals from him and 3 more from his teammates were incredibly sufficient for the team to earn 3 points in an away premier league fixture, to a score of 1-5. Arsenal remains in third place, for 3 weeks in a row, behind Liverpool and Chelsea. The match also cost our Saka to suffer a hamstring injury. He will definitely be missed.
The next game is against Ed Sheeran’s Tractor Boys! Just ‘Thinking Out Loud’, for the past 6 games between Arsenal and Ipswich, the Gunners had won 4, lost 1 and drawn 1. This match is going to be an exciting one to end 2024. The game is scheduled on Saturday, 28 Dec 2024 at 4.15 am. No live screening.
Happy holidays and see you in 2025!
