Happy Tuesday Singapore Gooners!!

Last Saturday, 25 January 2025, the club organized its mid-season party at BQ Bar. About 100 guests attended the event and they were treated to a sumptuous buffet spread, interesting team quiz, crossword puzzles, a drinking game and an uncensored commentary competition. 25 lucky draw prizes were also given away, which included the top prize of the Invincibles coin set worth $250. Only 2004 sets are available globally. One of our members, Yi Ming, also successfully bid the auctioned Masters jersey at $888. We will share the event photos this week in our social media. It is positive news on the Arsenal front last week with a 3-0 win in the CL against Zagreb and 0-1 win against Wolves in the PL. These were crucial wins! With that, Arsenal has qualified for the quarter finals of the CL. The PL win, despite having a corrupted referee, provides that morale booster to the team as Liverpool win yet again.

Two matches this week. The final CL game in the qualifying round, which is an away match against the Italian Girona. The match is on Thursday, 30 January 2025 at 4 am. No live screening. Thereafter, Arsenal hosted Man City in the PL return match on Monday, 3 February 2025 at 12.30 am. No live screening. The previous match ended in 2-2. It is going to be a close one this time against Man City!
