Happy midweek Singapore Gooners!

First up, I have to thank one of our members, Aaron Ong, who had rightly advised me that I have made a huge blunder, akin to Havertz missing some of the goals this season although he did score some of the goals. To correct my mistake in the previous newsletters, Arsenal has yet to qualify for the quarter finals. The team had qualified automatically to the last 16. We will know who our opponents are on 21 February 2025. My bad!

With a possible 9-point lead by Liverpool in the EPL, the dramatic draw against Everton this morning has now placed them ahead of Arsenal, by a 7-point margin in the EPL after 24 matches. Game on Liverpool! The Arsenal team, who are having a training ‘vacation’ in Dubai, must be elated with the result. They will be back to face Leicester City at King Power Stadium this weekend. The match is on Saturday, 15 February 2025 at 8.30 pm. There’ll be live screening at Molly Malone’s. Is the team energized now to take on the remaining matches! Let’s hope so and get that away win! Come down and gather for the game.

Oh ya, Arsenal is out of the EFL Cup. Another 2-0 loss to the Toons. We are left with 2 more cups to look forward this season.

That’s all folks! Short one this week.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
