Our member Ali Azhari shares his visit to The Arsenal to watch the team take on Manchester City in February 2025.

There’s only one video here, because the others were filled with expletives! But of happiness of course! You can see the smile on my face, ah, I was super happy. 

We opened our scoring less than 5 minutes in, against a City side we have been wanting to defeat since Arteta took over Arsenal. Haaland pulled one back for City, but Partey put us back in front almost immediately after, Lewis-Skelly did brilliant and Havertz made up for his first half miss with a clinical finish afterwards, we were then in cruise control. The icing on the cake was Nwaneri’s shot, this kid has a sweet left foot. Saka watch out! 

Ah yes, revenge is sweet. So much for telling the 18 year old Lewis-Skelly to be humble, only for Kendrick Lamar’s Humble to be blasted on the speakers at full-time. 5-1 was the scoreline, we trumped them. Alas, the disciple defeated his mentor. We’ve got Super Mik Arteta
