Happy midweek Gooners!

I am back! Thank you Lance, for covering me in my absence and writing the 3 newsletters.

To recap, Arsenal is now unbeaten in the last 5 matches in all competitions. The 2-2 draw against PSV in the Champions League placed Arsenal on a 9-3 aggregate score, and the team advanced to the quarterfinal against Real Madrid. Tough one, as the team will be playing at home in the first leg. And, it was 1-nil to Arsenal last weekend. Chelsea has yet to beat us since 2022 in the Premier League. Our Romeo Valentino Merino to the rescue once again for the Gunners, with a scintillating header. 

With the win, Arsenal remains in second position with a 12-point gap behind league leader Liverpool. 9 more games to play before the season ends. Who would have thought that Liverpool and their new coach in his first season with the club, supposedly vying for the league title and 2 competitions, had crumbled and is now left with just winning the Premiership. Possibly, highly likely, but it is still not cast in stone. Whereas Arsenal, is still in the Champions League and very, very much optimistic to pip the Reds for the title. However, only destiny and God’s will can help Arsenal, if anyone believes in that. Because our faith has reduced tremendously with the past results, especially the games with Brighton, Villa, Hammers and Forest, that could have garnered more points, i.e., 9 points lost. 

As Gooners, now is the time to relish the remaining games, enjoy those moments and not expect anything in return expect the unexpected. Lol!!  

It’s the interlull now. Hopefully the 2-week break can rejuvenate our players, injure the opponents’ players, and inject a fresh approach to our campaign.

At the moment, our IG is suspended due to unforeseen circumstances. Look out for updates via FB, Arsenal Singapore WhatsApp Channel, and WhatsApp Chatgroup. 

Whilst there has been a news article about Arsenal possibly coming to Singapore, we have yet to receive any confirmation from the club. If the plans did not materialise, the club will organise a group trip to watch the team in Hong Kong. More will be shared once we receive any updates.
