Our member Melody Foo shares his visit to The Arsenal to watch the team take on Real Madrid in April 2025.

13 March 2025 — the day it was confirmed Arsenal would be playing a match while I was in Europe. Against Real Madrid, no less. I knew I had to try my luck with tickets — and was lucky enough to get one.

With a tight schedule, I was in London for less than 24 hours — flying in that afternoon and out the very next morning — just to be there. And it paid off. My first-ever Champions League match — and what a night it was. Two stunning free kicks from Declan Rice (#TwiceAsRice) and a brilliant strike from Merino sealed a dominant 3–0 win and a truly historic performance under the lights at the Emirates. I still can’t believe I was there to witness it.
